Why we stock the 2XU Light Speed Compression Tights

These are more than ‘standard’ compression tights. The Light Speed Compression Tights feature 2XU’s Muscle Containment Stamping (MCS) technology. MCS is a fabric support system that – in the case of these 2XU tights – sits over the top of the quadriceps and calves. The MCS fabric is its own layer – additional to the main fabric. The result is increased compression with the goal of reducing muscle oscillation and injury risk, through the provision of increased support. Having this kind of support at the quadriceps and calves should be beneficial for your running.

Compression aside, these are very practical running tights. There is a large pocket on the back for your phone, a secure zip pocket for items such as a key, and a mesh pocket for energy gels and similar items.

The signature X logos on the thigh and calf are reflective. 

Fit Guide

Please refer to the size guide which will help you to choose your size based on your height and weight. It is worth noting that the compression is related to limb mass; therefore, waist size is of very little relevance when it comes to identifying the correct size.

Ideal Run Type

The 2XU Men’s Light Speed Compression Tights are best for runs in cool and mild temperatures. They are suitable for runs at a wide range of speeds, although you may find them particularly beneficial for use on recovery runs when you have sore and/or tired legs.
