Underfoot Feel

The highly-stacked midsole uses a combination of two foams and glass-infused rods. LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam sits directly beneath the foot and creates a comfortable, bouncy feel while sitting on top of a firmer layer of LIGHTSTRIKE foam. This lower foam provides a stable base to the midsole. Glass-infused ENERGY RODS run through the midsole, increasing stiffness but without compromising the smooth feel and transition from initial footstrike to toe-off. The rods are designed to be more flexible than a full plate to aid this smooth transition but still offer a snappy, propulsive toe-off. As has become the norm on many adidas shoes, highly durable Continental rubber gives fantastic traction.

Upper Fit

Weight has been stripped from the shoe through the introduction of a new lighter mesh design in the upper.

Ideal Run Type

The adidas Adizero Boston 11 is a real all-rounder, suited to both running at slower paces and to picking up the pace on faster runs, sessions or even races. The combination of excellent underfoot protection and a snappy, responsive feel make this shoe a fantastic option for many runners. 

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
