The Carbon X 2 incorporates innovative technology, including a specially engineered carbon fibre plate and an updated, extended Meta Rocker designed to provide an efficient, propulsive ride on every run.

The carbon fibre plate runs from heel through to forefoot and curls under the lateral toes, delivering a smooth transition through the gait cycle. The plate also helps maintain the rocker profile of the shoe and is designed to propel the foot quickly and smoothly towards toe-off. Using PROFLY™ technology (a special combination of foams above and below the carbon plate) and HOKA’s trademark geometry, the Carbon X 2 delivers an inherently stable and soft but ultimately responsive experience. Completed with a lightweight upper incorporating supportive TPU yarns, the Carbon X 2 is designed for speed and comfort over long distances in training or racing.

This is a responsive but highly cushioned running shoe which is ideal for running faster without compromising comfort and efficiency at slower paces. 

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
