Advice for Road Runners: The new Saucony Guide 14 has been refined with a better fit, sleeker look and more comfortable underfoot feel to make tackling those miles feel even easier. A dynamic support system provides added stability when it’s needed. If your feet roll in, a TPU structure provides additional control and helps reduce the amount of inward movement. This only kicks in when you need it; so is great for runners who may have differences in stability between each foot or who know they fatigue later on during runs. The support structure is the same as the previous model.
Cushioning is delivered by a PWRRUN midsole. This feels soft and protective underfoot. Saucony have added more blown rubber in the forefoot to improve the level of responsiveness and deliver a springier underfoot feel. Based on runner feedback, changes to the upper have also been made to create a more secure fit. The FORMFIT upper should hold the foot and ankle well to provide a sense of support without feeling restrictive.
Available in two colours, the new Saucony Guide 14 is an ultra-comfortable stability shoe that makes slower to steadier paced runs feel easy.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
