They feature the same signature HOKA cushioning and J-Frame™ support as the standard edition.

Underfoot Feel

The HOKA Arahi 7 Wide Running Shoes should feel supportive and protective underfoot. This is because the midsole offers a lot of cushioning and features an innovative J-Frame™ support system.

Shaped like the letter J, a denser section of foam on the medial side of the midsole actively reduces pronation and supports your feet. 

As the midsole feels both soft and responsive, the best way to describe the cushioning is balanced.

Upper Fit

The HOKA Arahi 7 Wide Running Shoes have an updated flat-knit upper. This should improve midfoot lockdown and comfort. In comparison to the previous version, a plusher tongue should feel softer. 

For clarity, these are wide-fitting HOKA Running Shoes and offer a broader fit than the standard edition.

As HOKA only converts men’s US to UK sizes by half a size, we recommend choosing your normal US running shoe size.

We recommend using the HOKA Men’s Arahi 7 Stabililty Running Shoes for your slower to steady paced miles. The responsive nature of the foam should respond well to adjustments in pace throughout a run – which is ideal if you like to build your effort as your legs loosen up.

Sizing Advice

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
