Advice for Road Runners: The Saucony Women’s Endorphin Speed 4 Running Shoes are one of the best options for faster-paced training sessions.
Opting for this style of running shoe in your weekly workouts means you can save a more responsive carbon-fibre plated model for races.
Underfoot Feel
The midsole features Saucony’s PWRRUN PB super foam. This ultra-resilient foam delivers exceptional levels of energy return.
The Saucony Endorphin Speed 4 is optimised for training sessions because the midsole has a full-length nylon plate. A nylon plate is more flexible than a carbon-fibre plate, meaning it’s likely to feel more comfortable across a broader range of paces.
Additionally, the plate is ‘winged’. To explain further, the sides of the plate in the midfoot area rise up; therefore, increasing the support on offer.
A fluted design increases the stiffness of the midfoot, which should improve responsiveness.
Upper Fit
The Saucony Endorphin Speed 4 Running Shoes have a zonal engineered mesh. An integrated tongue should limit any tongue migration. This is important when you’re running hard.
Ideal Run Type
The Saucony Women’s Endorphin Speed 4 Running Shoes are perfect for fast-paced training sessions, such as intervals and tempo runs. The nylon plate is likely to feel more forgiving than a carbon-fibre plate during weekly workouts. However, the superfoam and full-length plate still deliver exceptional energy return – which should improve your running economy.
The energetic and supportive nature of Endorphin Speed 4’s cushioning also makes them a potential option for Hyrox events.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
