Advice for Road Runners: The GT-1000 10 is a supportive running shoe which uses a firmer, more traditional arch support for runners at greater risk of mobile joints. It delivers a responsive firm feel underfoot and will work well for you if you have higher levels of instability.

A new Flytefoam Propel midsole offers a bouncy and soft running experience. On the medial side, DUOMAX, a firmer density foam is placed to reduce higher ranges of pronation. This style of support will work well if you have increased hypermobility in the ankle joints from playing other sports such as netball, dancing or swimming. This GT-1000 10 also features GEL cushioning positioned close to the ground, creating a soft landing on impact.

The breathable upper has been redesigned to improve the overall fit with an engineered mesh that adjusts to the foot’s natural shape. The heel fit hugs the ankle for a secure and supportive feel.

The GT-1000 10 is a shoe that feels protective underfoot but delivers a highly responsive feel. Offering medial stability in a traditional way, this stiffer style of support is best for runners with mobile ankle joints.

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
