Advice for Road Runners: The HOKA Men’s Bondi 8 Road Running Shoes provide very high levels of cushioning. While the Bondi 8 are neutral running shoes, they are very stable running shoes. The stability stems from their geometry. 

Underfoot Feel

The Bondi 8 feel incredibly cushioned underneath your feet. While the cushioning stems from a lot of midsole foam, the Bondi still feel light on your feet.

As mentioned, the Bondi are very stable neutral running shoes. Some of this stability is a result of HOKA’s Active Foot Frame™. With the Active Foot Frame™ your feet sit in the midsole, not on top of it. You will also notice that the outsole and midsole are broad. This results in a lot of surface area to land and push off from.

The Bondi 8 should make your running feel easier. The inclusion of HOKA’s MetaRocker™ helps with this. The curvature of the heel and the forefoot helps you to move with greater ease and efficiency.

Upper Fit

The materials on the upper are soft and breathable. You should expect adequate room for your feet, but the fabric will sit close to your feet.

The HOKA Men’s Bondi 8 Road Running Shoes are best for runs when you want to take stress off your feet and legs. We expect you will find them to be ideal for slow to steady paced runs, including very relaxed recovery runs.

Sizing Advice

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
