Advice for Road Runners: Feel the energy under your feet in the On Women’s Cloudmonster 2 Running Shoes in the Undyed/Flame colourway. These max-cushioned On Running Shoes deliver the best of both worlds: protection and propulsion.
Underfoot Feel
An updated dual-density Helion superfoam midsole is the main change to the On Women’s Cloudmonster 2 Running Shoes. A softer top layer of foam should improve underfoot comfort, without compromising energy return.
Large CloudTec Elements form the bottom layer of foam. As these collapse under load and then spring back, you should experience a dynamic ride that balances protection and propulsion.
In line with the concept of propulsion, an updated nylon-blend Speedboard, sandwiched between the two foams, should improve energy return even more.
Upper Fit
In our experience, the On Women’s Cloudmonster 2 Running Shoes feel spacious in the toe box. Ample support and confidence should be delivered by a secure midfoot and ankle collar design.
While the Cloudmonster 2 upper looks similar to the previous edition, it now features an improved engineered mesh and lining materials. Midfoot lockdown should also be better thanks to an adjusted eyestay design.
Ideal Run Type
We recommend using the On Women’s Cloudmonster 2 Running Shoes on your slower to steady paced miles. That’s because the midsole offers a lot of protection – which can help keep your muscles feeling fresher for longer. Needless to say they’re great options for longer distance runs. Due to the propulsive nature of the cushioning, the Cloudmonster 2 should also feel good when doing harder effort runs.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
