Advice for Road Runners: Finishing one run and immediately looking forward to the next is a good scenario. The Nike Women’s Invincible 3 Road Running Shoes may well help you to be in that position. Thanks to soft and highly responsive cushioning, these shoes are designed to help you to complete more training than you otherwise would.
Underfoot Feel
There is a substantial amount of cushioning underneath your feet in the Invincible 3. The cushioning itself is ZoomX foam – which is soft and incredibly responsive.
The midsole and outsole is broad at the heel and the forefoot. This helps to provide a stable platform for you to run on. Meaning that you can put these Nike running shoes on and focus on your run.
With so much foam and cushioning underneath your feet, it may take you a few runs to get used to the cushioning. However, once you do – we expect that you will be able to complete a lot of runs in comfort.
Upper Fit
The evolved Flyknit upper offers breathability where it is most needed. The material on the upper is strong and durable. However, it’s not uncommon for runners to find the heel counter to feel slightly loose on this style. You can use the additional eyelet on the lacing system for more heel security if needed. Our advice is to let your feet get used to the shoes. The lack of tightness at the heel can lead to a very unobtrusive fit.
Ideal Run Type
We recommend the Nike Women’s Invincible 3 Road Running Shoes for long training runs. If you have runs to complete at low to moderate speeds, then the Invincible 3 can be a great choice.
As the quality and quantity of cushioning is so high, these shoes are particularly suitable if you want your legs to feel as fresh as possible at the end of a run. They are also great when your legs are sore from a hard session or race.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
