Advice for Road Runners: Looking for stability running shoes that feel good over a range of paces? We suggest checking out the Mizuno Women’s Wave Inspire 19 in the Wisteria/White/Sun Kissed Coral colourway. That’s because they offer a dynamic experience and adapt to your effort.
Underfoot Feel
With Mizuno Enerzy cushioning, the Wave Inspire 19 Running Shoes deliver great protection. Ideal for slower paced runs and longer distances. However, if you pick up the pace, the energetic cushioning should feel propulsive. The Mizuno Wave Plate also aids energy return and forward momentum.
This signature Mizuno technology also offers more support for your feet. In addition to dispersing forces, the Wave Plate helps reduce greater ranges of pronation. Helping to guide your feet throughout the gait cycle.
Upper Fit
The AIRmesh upper in the Mizuno Wave Inspire 19 Running Shoes should feel light and breathable. If you prefer a secure ankle hold, and spacious toe box, there’s a good chance these will suit your preference.
Ideal Run Type
The Mizuno Women’s Wave Inspire 19 are stability running shoes. Therefore, they’re a good option for runners with unstable feet and ankles. Additionally, the Wave Plate structure should provide good support for flatter arches.
On top of being suitable for a range of distances, the Wave Inspire 19 should perform at a range of intensities. Whilst they offer great protection for lower intensity runs, the energetic midsole should feel more responsive if you pick up the pace.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
