Underfoot Feel

The ASICS GT-2000 12 midsole features the following changes:

• Updated 3D GUIDANCE SYSTEM;
• PureGEL Technology; and
• FF BLAST PLUS FOAM.

The 3D GUIDANCE SYSTEM means that the GT-2000 running shoes no longer have a medial post. Instead, stability is delivered by wider base nets and an increased heel bevel and forefoot flare. This means the support should feel softer and more natural. 

PureGEL is 65% softer in comparison to previous GEL. As it’s positioned in the rear area of the midsole, it provides lots of protection for heel strikers. The upgraded FF BLAST PLUS foam provides more cushioning, for a softer underfoot experience. 

Upper Fit

With jacquard mesh upper, the ASICS GT-2000 12 Stability Running Shoes should feel breathable and comfortable. The distinctive lean back design at the heel counter helps reduce irritation around the back of the ankle. 

At least 50% of the primary upper consists of recycled materials.

Ideal Run Type

We recommend using the ASICS Men’s GT-2000 12 Stability Running Shoes for slower to steady paced runs. The soft and protective foam reduces the impact of landing and makes it easier to clock those daily miles. 

Feel fresher at the end of long distance runs, thanks to the forgiving, yet supportive nature of the holistic guidance system.

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
