In comparison to the previous version, the HOKA Speedgoat 6 Trail Running Shoes’ cushioning should feel lighter and more responsive. This should make it easier to run faster on technical trails.

Grip is still delivered by a 5 mm Vibram MegaGrip with Traction Lug outsole. This is renowned for feeling very grippy on wet rock.

A new lug orientation has been inspired by the hoof of a goat. This should deliver even better grip on loose terrain. 

Overall, the midsole and outsole should inspire a lot of confidence on mixed surfaces and challenging terrain.

Upper Fit

The upper of the HOKA Speedgoat 6 Trail Running Shoes features a number of upgrades that improve the fit and feel.

To start, the woven textile upper now has a plusher dual-sided gusseted tongue, that prevents debris entry. There’s also an internal support chassis that offers more structure for your feet on uneven terrain.

Lastly, an adjusted dynamic vamp offers a more accommodating fit in the toe box. One of the key benefits of this design is that it can adapt to foot swelling. 

Ideal Run Type

If you’re looking to feel confident on a wide range of surfaces, including technical terrain, the HOKA Women’s Speedgoat 6 Trail Running Shoes are one of the best options. This is because the outsole grips on loose, compact, dry, and wet ground. 

The midsole and outsole should also feel comfortable moving from one type of surface to the next. For example, from a forest trail to a rocky hill path.

Sizing Advice

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
