As these are located on the chest, they don’t bounce around and you can drink from them with ease. If you would like to carry more fluid, you can store a 1.5L bladder in the compartment at the back. Note: the bladder is not included. 

The storage options on the front of this Salomon Running Vest makes refuelling on a run a piece of cake. With two expandable front stretch pockets, you can easily get to your preferred energy source. There’s also a handy trash pocket if you want to store away used gel wrappers. Two shoulder stretch pockets and a zipped front pocket are perfect for keeping your keys and phone safe.

It’s best practice to carry a waterproof jacket and trousers when you’re in the hills. The Salomon Skin 5 features a back compartment pocket, top pocket and tunnel pocket so you can store these essentials. If you’re efficient with your packing, you should also be able to carry a foil blanket and smaller items such as gloves and a hat.
