Advice for Road Runners: The women’s Hoka Bondi 8 in the fresh and vibrant Summer Song/Country Air colourway is the softest and most cushioned running shoe in the Hoka range and has undergone some significant changes.

Underfoot Feel

The shoe now features a softer, more resilient midsole foam which when combined with Hoka’s trademark Meta Rocker technology delivers a smoother feeling underfoot and adds extra spring. The heel now features billowed grooves and has been extended to absorb impact more effectively and to smooth the transition from heel through to toe-off. An Ortholite Hybrid sockliner further enhances the soft, cushioned feel. The outsole uses strategically placed Durabrasion rubber for increased durability and weight reduction.

Upper Fit

The engineered mesh upper is soft and highly breathable and extra memory foam in the ankle collar and the padded semi-gusseted tongue ensures great comfort with a secure, supportive fit.

Ideal Run Type

The Hoka Bondi 8 is a supportive running shoe which offers high levels of cushioning and is ideal for easy or steady runs, whatever the distance. It offers superb protection for runners running at easier to steady paces by reducing stress on the lower legs.

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
