Advice for Road Runners: The Nike Men’s Zoom Fly 5 Running Shoes in the striking Hyper Pink/Black/Laser Orange colourway have undergone some fantastic updates from the previous version and now offer an incredible package of features which elevate the performance of the shoe!

Underfoot Feel

The revised midsole features a core of recycled scrap ZoomX foam. This core is wrapped in a super-soft carrier foam (SR02) for added durability. A full-length carbon fibre plate also works with the foams to produce a responsive ride. This plate also reduces the amount of work done by your lower legs when running slower.

Support has been added by wrapping the midsole foam higher up the foot and by widening the heel and forefoot. Extra outsole rubber increases durability.

Upper Fit

An open mesh design accommodates a range of foot shapes and is wonderfully breathable. A soft two-layer mesh at the bottom of the laces adds comfort. An arch band also holds the midfoot securely in place. A soft, plush tongue design also reduces pressure across the top of the foot.

Ideal Run Type

The Nike Men’s Zoom Fly 5 Running Shoes will work well for many runners. The performance-oriented features mean they will perform well on fast-paced training or race days. They are also an excellent choice as general mileage shoes for runners who want to benefit from the propulsive feel of the plate.

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
