Advice for Road Runners: The On Men’s Cloudflyer 4 Running Shoes in the Metal/Lapis colourway have undergone a number of changes from the previous version, but still deliver stability and control to your runs in a lightweight, responsive package.
Underfoot Feel
The shoe now has a revised Cloud Element construction and layout which uses larger Clouds. This gives a softer, more forgiving feel.
In the rear of the shoe, the Clouds are now made of Zero Gravity foam. This foam feels softer than before but doesn’t reduce stability. In the forefoot, Helion foam Clouds are now connected rather than independent of each other. This more evenly spreads ground contact forces. This Helion foam also delivers a responsive and energetic toe-off.
A polypropylene Speedboard™ sits on top of the Clouds to enhance both responsiveness and stability. A moulded sockliner, designed to conform to the shape of the foot, improves step-in comfort even further.
Upper Fit
The 85% recycled upper now has a much softer, more premium feel. The midfoot support panels combined with a dual layer mesh in the forefoot offer improved support and add durability. Additional padding is included in both the heel and tongue. On’s signature star lacing configuration eases pressure across the foot. An external heel counter also locks the foot securely in place.
Ideal Run Type
The On Men’s Cloudflyer 4 Running Shoes deliver stability and control to road runs of any type. The introduction of Zero Gravity foam alongside Helion superfoam and Speedboard™ technology gives a ride which strikes a great balance between lightweight cushioning and propulsion.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
