Asics | Men’s Gel-Nimbus Lite 3 Running Shoes

Advice for Road Runners: Created using sustainable practices, the Gel-Nimbus Lite 3 in the Black/Hazard Green colourway represents the green standard from Asics. Designed using a large proportion of recycled and organically-derived materials, the Gel-Nimbus Lite 3 offers the cushioning and shock absorption of the popular GEL-Nimbus but in a lighter, bouncier package which works well should you choose to increase the pace. 

The one-piece midsole feels soft and protective and is made from FLYTEFOAM (eco), a version of FLYTEFOAM where some of the EVA has been replaced by Cellulose Nanofibres. These come from a naturally-derived wood pulp. This increases the sustainability of the midsole production and creates a highly durable midsole foam.

Laser cutting on the sidewalls of the midsole improves how the midsole compresses under pressure and works in tandem with the GEL positioned in the heel and forefoot areas to offer a more deformable and softer underfoot feel.

The upper is largely constructed using recycled materials and offers a lightweight, highly breathable feel and a tailored fit. An updated tongue design enhances the comfort of the shoe. The sockliner is produced using a solution dyeing process which reduces water usage and carbon emissions.

This Gel-Nimbus Lite 3 is a versatile shoe which delivers the cushioning and protection that’s synonymous with the Nimbus family but doesn’t compromise on energy return when running at faster speeds. 

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
