Advice for Road Runners: There’s no doubt that the Ghost is one of Brooks’ most popular models. The Brooks Men’s Ghost 15 in the Blue/Peacoat/Orange colourway looks great.
Underfoot Feel
Why does everyone rave about the Brooks Men’s Ghost 15? Well a lot of it is down to how the cushioning feels. Brooks’ DNA LOFT v2 cushioning strikes a great balance between softness and responsiveness. As a result, it should feel protective when you land and energetic at take-off.
There’s more to the midsole than meets the eye. A segmented crash pad (lateral edge of the heel) smooths out landings. This is a great feature for heel strikers.
Upper Fit
Lot of runners love the way the Brooks Ghost 15 fits. With plenty space in the forefoot area and lots of security in the ankle, this is no surprise. 3D Fit Print overlays lower the chances of friction.
Ideal Run Type
If you tend to run at a consistent pace, the Brooks Ghost 15 is a great option. The midsole does respond to some injections of pace though, in case you up the tempo. You should find it feels protective over longer distances too.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
