The Brooks Men’s Glycerin 20 is made with their most cushioned midsole material to date: DNA LOFT v3. For the technical enthusiasts, this is a nitrogen infused material that delivers very high levels of energy return. This means you’ll experience an extremely cushioned and responsive underfoot feel.

Upper Fit

We know that finding the right fitting running shoe is tricky. The upper of the Brooks Glycerin 20 features premium materials to enhance comfort. We expect a lot of runners will enjoy the soft and breathable fabric. 

Ideal Run Type

A of runners want to run and not feel sore afterwards. The Brooks Glycerin 20 highly cushioned midsole should reduce the stress placed on muscles and joints. This level of cushioning can help you train more frequently and is perfect for recovery runs. Additionally, if you start to fatigue in the later stages of a run, this level of underfoot protection is likely to feel very welcome. 

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
