Advice for Road Runners: The Brooks Women’s Adrenaline GTS 23 in the Pink/Festival Fuchsia/Black colourway features a lighter midsole material than the previous version. If you’re a Brooks Adrenaline running shoe fan, you’ll love the latest edition.
Underfoot Feel
The Brooks Women’s Adrenaline GTS 23 features an updated midsole called DNA LOFT v2. Without going into too much technical detail, this material is just as soft as the previous version, but lighter. You can expect the Brooks Adrenaline running shoes’ trademark soft and smooth underfoot experience, with less weight.
For clarity, the GuideRail support is the same as the Adrenaline GTS 22. If you’ve not run in this before, the holistic support helps align your knees and hips.
Upper Fit
The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 should fit the same as the previous version. An engineered air mesh feels comfortable and breathable.
Ideal Run Type
The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 running shoe is best suited to slow to steady paced runs. That’s because it features a soft and padded midsole. It’s normal for runners to feel more stress in their legs during longer runs, particularly in the latter stages. The GuideRail support in the Brooks Adrenaline GTS should help maintain your knee and hip alignment and minimise discomfort.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
