Advice for Road Runners: The Brooks Women’s Glycerin GTS 21 Running Shoes are the stability version of the Brooks Glycerin. GTS stands for ‘go-to-support’ and these shoes are designed to provide more stability than the neutral version.
Underfoot Feel
The Glycerin GTS 21’s midsole consists of Brooks’ DNA LOFT v3 cushioning. This nitrogen-infused foam delivers premium cushioning and plush comfort.
If you wore the Glycerin GTS 20, please note that the Glycerin GTS 21 has an additional 2 mm of DNA LOFT v3 cushioning.
The added support stems from the use of Brooks GuideRails™. The GuideRails™ system works in a similar way to the bumpers on a bowling alley; they support your body in its natural motion path while keeping excess motion in check.
The use of new RoadTack rubber results in a lightweight and durable outsole.
Upper Fit
A new, engineered warp knit upper provides breathability along with support in vital areas across the foot.
Ideal Run Type
The Brooks Women’s Glycerin GTS 21 Running Shoes are best for slow to steady paced training runs. As there is a significant amount of premium cushioning, they should be very comfortable for long runs.
As a reminder, please note that these are the stability version of the Brooks Glycerin.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
