Underfoot Feel

A robust midsole protects the feet, even on on rough terrain. The rugged outsole design delivers great grip and also uses non-marking rubber. This makes the shoes suitable for use on a wide variety of surfaces, including indoors.

Upper Fit

The upper has a durable water-repellent treatment for some added protection. It also features a reinforced toe rand and leather overlays in key wear areas. In addition, an anti-odour lining keeps the shoes fresh, even during prolonged use. The lining of the upper is also manufactured using recycled materials.  

Ideal Run Type

Saucony Girls’ Peregrine Shield Running Shoes are worthy of consideration for use across a broad range of running. They give excellent protection to growing feet. Their water repellency also means they’re suitable in mixed weather conditions.

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
