Underfoot Feel

The plush CMEVA midsole is softer and thicker than before for increased shock absorption on firmer surfaces. However, the thickness of the midsole doesn’t compromise the adaptability of the shoe on rougher terrain.

The Durabrasion rubber outsole is inspired by the design of gravel bike tyres. It features 4mm lugs which grip superbly on either road or firmer off-road terrain.

Hoka’s Meta Rocker design also acts to reduce the stress loads placed on the lower leg.

Upper Fit 

The engineered mesh upper contains recycled materials, is lightweight and highly flexible. It offers comfort and quick-drying properties. The extended heel section also allows the shoe to be put on and taken off easily.

Ideal Run Type

The Hoka Men’s Challenger ATR 7 Running Shoes are plush and highly cushioned, suitable for a mix of firmer trail and road use. The construction of these shoes allows you to easily transition from road to trail and back again.

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
