Underfoot Feel

The Arahi 7 are stability running shoes. Stability is predominantly delivered by HOKA’s J-Frame™. The firmer foam in the J-Frame™ extends along the medial side of the shoes to a significant extent. The firmer foam helps to prevent your feet from rolling inwards.

While the cushioning in the midsole should feel protective and responsive, an early stage MetaRocker™ helps you to move through the gait cycle with greater ease and efficiency.

Upper Fit

The Arahi’s upper has been significantly updated for this edition: the Arahi 7. In comparison to the Arahi 6, an updated flat knit upper improves midfoot lockdown. A plusher tongue delivers better comfort, and a dual gusset limits the chance of tongue migration. 

The upper is very breathable.

Please note: HOKA only converts the women’s size from US to UK by one and a half sizes. Most running brands convert it by two full sizes. We recommend choosing your normal US running shoe size.

The Arahi 7 is also available in wide-fit.

Ideal Run Type

The HOKA Women’s Arahi 7 Running Shoes are best for slow to steady paced runs on the road. However, due to the responsive cushioning, they should feel good during faster sections of your daily runs.

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
