Advice for Road Runners: The ever-immensely popular Hoka Clifton 8 in the Blue Fog/Plein Air colourway, provides the ultimate comfort and cushioning for your longer or easier-paced runs. This latest edition is even softer than before with more air in the midsole foam, which is 15% lighter than the foam used in the Clifton 7.
The Clifton 8 features Hoka’s signature Meta Rocker geometry, to provide smooth transitions from heel to toe-off. With maximum impact absorption, the cushioning combined with this rocker-style midsole helps take the strain out of sore or tired muscles. The Clifton 8 makes running feel easier and is perfect for your long, steady runs and recovery days.
This favourite amongst runners for everyday training offers a balanced ride with soft cushioning whatever distance you run. For runners with wider feet, the Clifton 8 is also available in a wide fit.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
