Advice for Road Runners: Get more training done with the Nike Men’s Invincible 3 Road Running Shoes. These Nike Running shoes are specifically designed to help you feel better during your run and better after your run; therefore, helping you to feel better at the start of your next run.
The substantial amount of ZoomX foam is largely responsible for the forgiving cushioning provided by the Invincible 3.
Underfoot Feel
As mentioned, there is a lot of ZoomX foam under your feet. ZoomX foam is light, returns a lot of energy, and provides a lot of cushioning.
The midsole is also shaped like a rocker. This helps you to move efficiently through the gait cycle.
You will also notice that the outsole and midsole are wide at both the heel and the forefoot. This helps to provide a stable platform from which to land and push off from.
In summary, the Invincible 3 feel soft and protective underneath your feet.
Upper Fit
We know that some runners find the Invincible 3 to be loose at the heel. If you find them loose at the heel, our advice is to run in the shoes and see if you quickly forget about the relaxed fit. If you do want a more secure fit, there is an additional eyelet to help with this. However, if you lace them too tightly and it’s not needed – it may put too much pressure on the top of your feet. There is a lot of strong material in the evolved Flyknit upper; so once you are running, they will not loosen much at all.
Ideal Run Type
The Nike Men’s Invincible 3 Road Running Shoes are best for training runs at low to moderate speeds on the road. They are particularly good for long training runs when you are trying to get the steady miles in, and also for easy-paced recovery runs.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
