Advice for Trail Runners: The Nike Men’s Zegama Trail Running Shoes are for uncompromising terrain.
The Zegama should help you to push the pace on challenging trails.
Underfoot Feel
ZoomX has been included in the Zegama’s midsole. ZoomX is incredibly light, but it also returns energy. While ground conditions could strongly influence how noticeable the energy return is, ZoomX should result in a responsive feel on firmer ground.
The midsole stack height is substantial. This should help to keep your feet and legs feeling fresher for longer.
Finally, variety in the lug pattern, combined with wide spacing between the lugs should give you confidence on technical terrain.
Upper Fit
The Zegama’s upper features strong – but flexible – engineered mesh. Providing support and breathability.
You will notice the ankle gaitor design around the heel. This helps to prevent debris entering the shoe.
Ideal Run Type
The Nike Men’s Zegama Trail Running Shoes are best suited to long, steep and technical trail runs.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
