Advice for Road Runners: The Nike Men’s Zoom Fly 6 Road Running Shoes are among Nike’s fastest training shoes ever made. For best-in-class training and racing hybrid, it is hard to look past the Zoom Fly 6.
Behind the Design
This model features a special design from Nike’s archives. It’s inspired by a legendary Nike employee, who doubled as a self-taught track & field photographer. The colours and graphics on the sockliners nod to the various press passes he collected over the years.
Underfoot Feel
The Zoom Fly 6 are designed to deliver amazing comfort and energy return.
Of all the shoes in Nike’s racing line-up, the Zoom Fly 6 have the highest stack height. The midsole consists of a full-length carbon fibre FlyPlate which sits between layers of Nike’s proprietary ZoomX and SR-02 foams.
ZoomX is Nike’s lightest and most responsive foam. It delivers a lot of energy return. When combined with a carbon fibre plate, you should experience supercharged propulsion.
The outsole features a thin web of rubber that delivers grip for when you are pushing the pace.
Upper Fit
The upper of the Zoom Fly 6 utilises a two-layer woven mesh system – offering premium comfort in a sock-like fit. Expect high levels of breathability and durability.
Ideal Run Type
The Nike Men’s Zoom Fly 6 Road Running Shoes are best suited to challenging long runs and tempo runs. In an ideal world, you would train in the Zoom Fly and then race in shoes such as the Vaporfly or Alphafly.
It is worth noting that Eliud Kipchoge and other elite Nike athletes played a vital role in the development of the Zoom Fly 6.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
