Advice for Road Runners: The Nike Women’s Infinity RN 4 in the White/Black-LT Lemon Twist-Volt colourway are stability running shoes.
These are the first Nike running shoes to feature ReactX foam. Specific midsole shaping and a supportive Flyknit upper enhances stability for unstable feet and ankles.
Underfoot Feel
Looking for a bouncy underfoot feel? ReactX foam delivers 13% more energy return than previously used React foam. This means you should feel lots of underfoot protection and lots of spring.
ReactX foam also reduces the carbon footprint of the midsole by at least 43% in comparison to React foam.
The Nike Infinity RN 4 are stability running shoes because the midsole features intentionally placed cushioning and tuned support. The yellow section of the midsole calls out this contoured support.
Smooth transitions from landing to toe-off are delivered by a curved midsole geometry.
Upper Fit
An updated Flyknit upper offers extra padding around the heel collar and on the tongue. The Nike Infinity RN 4 upper also offers enhanced midfoot support via a Flyknit fit band.
Even though you may not think white running shoes will stand up to wet weather, a water-repellent liner in the toe-area protects your feet.
We recommend ordering a half-size up from your normal Nike running shoes size for the best fit. Nike has acknowledged that these have a snug fit.
Ideal Run Type
We position the Nike Women’s Infinity RN 4 stability running shoes in our Float Experience category. That’s because they offer lots of underfoot cushioning that should feel plush and protective. As a result, we recommend using them for slower to steady paced running.
Whether you’re looking for extra support for that key weekly long run, or so you can run on consecutive days in comfort, the support in the Infinity RN 4 running shoes should help.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
