Advice for Road Runners: Enjoy the ultra cushioned and bouncy ZoomX foam in the Nike Women’s Invincible Run 3 in the Ashen Slate/Metallic Gold-Diffused Blue colourway. In our opinion, these are one of the best running shoes to help make the aerobic miles feel easier.
Underfoot Feel
A thick layer of Nike’s ZoomX super foam feels exceptionally cushioned and bouncy underfoot. This means the Invincible Run 3 offers a lot of impact protection and help when you’re trying to cover the daily miles.
You should feel like your feet are rolling forward, thanks to the curved midsole shaping. This is likely to take some of the load and stress off your lower legs.
Midsole sculpting helps improve underfoot stability in the high stacked cushioning. There’s also a heel clip around the rear section of the midsole that aids the sensation of support.
Upper Fit
The Nike Invincible Run 3 Flyknit upper feels light, breathable and supportive. As there’s padding around the internal section of the heel collar, you may want to use the last eyelet row when lacing them up. This helps provide more lock down. In our experience, they should offer a spacious fit in the toebox.
Ideal Run Type
If there was ever a running shoe made for the long run, the Nike Women’s Invincible Run 3 would be them. That’s because the cushioning simply offers incredible levels of impact protection. Furthermore, the ZoomX foam should help propel you forward. As a result, the miles should feel that bit easier.
At the same time, it doesn’t matter what distance you’re running. If you’re looking for the ultimate cushioning experience, there’s a good chance you’ll like these.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
