Advice for Road Runners: Make your race pace feel easier in the Nike Women’s Vaporfly 3 Running Shoes in the Black/MTLC Gold Grain-Black-Oatmeal colourway.
Underfoot Feel
With ZoomX cushioning and a full-length carbon fibre plate, the Nike Vaporfly 3 feels incredibly cushioned and energetic underfoot. While the midsole feels propulsive at faster efforts, it also feels impressively forgiving at easier paces. Meaning the Vaporfly 3 performs over a wide range of intensities.
The specific midsole shaping offers more structure and aids stability. Particularly when running around corners at pace. When you’re tiring at the end of a race, the stable platform helps keep your form in check.
Upper Fit
The Vaporfly 3 Running Shoes Flyknit upper feels light, highly breathable and flexible. By flexible, we mean the material stretches and adapts with your foot shape. This should help reduce the chances of irritation, especially if your feet swell.
Whilst the Vaporfly 3 should suit a range of foot shapes, an accommodating toe box offers great space for broader shaped feet.
Ideal Run Type
We recommend using the Nike Women’s Vaporfly 3 Running Shoes when you’re trying to run your best times in races. That’s because the propulsive midsole can make your target race pace feel easier. They may also reduce the load on your muscles – helping you
feel fresher in the final stages of an event.
Even though the Nike Vaporfly 3 are best for racing, it’s a good idea to do some key run sessions in them before the big day. However, you might like them so much that you use them a bit more regularly. In fact, some runners do their weekly speed focused session in them.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
