Advice for Road Runners: If you want to feel fast, the Nike Women’s Vaporfly 3 in Hyper Pink/Black-Laser Orange will take you a step closer.
Underfoot Feel
It’s hard to articulate how cushioned and propulsive the Nike Women’s Vaporfly 3 feels. The ZoomX midsole has been updated from the previous version and now delivers more responsiveness. You’ll also enjoy more ZoomX foam. This is because Nike have added a thinner outsole rubber, allowing more foam to be positioned under your feet. Fear not, the outsole rubber doesn’t compromise durability.
While the Nike Vaporfly 3 still features a full-length carbon fibre Flyplate, the midsole shape has been altered. If you’re a pervious Vaporfly wearer, you’ll notice the midsole heel bulge. This is specifically designed to create more a more stable feel in comparison to the previous model. We know many runners will welcome this update.
Upper Fit
Searching for a comfortable super shoe? The wide toe box area in the Nike Vaporfly 3 accommodates foot swelling over the course of an event. If it’s hot, a particularly breathable upper ensures that excess heat can escape. While the upper is very light, padding on the tongue offsets lace pressure, and an internal foam pod at the heel improves comfort.
Ideal Run Type
The Nike Women’s Vaporfly 3 should help you run faster. Whether that’s a 10K or marathon, this carbon fibre plated super shoe helps save energy and aids propulsion. We know some runners will use these for training runs. Our recommendation is to do this sparingly and save the Vaporfly for race day, so you get maximum benefit.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
Technical Features
- Wider toe area for a roomier fit
