Advice for Trail Runners: The Nike Women’s Zegama 2 Trail Running Shoes are designed to cope with the rigours of trail running. Optimal cushioning is combined with a rugged outsole to help you run with increased ease and speed.

Underfoot Feel

The midsole contains Nike’s ultra-responsive and lightweight ZoomX foam. This foam, coupled with the stack height, delivers significant amounts of comfort during runs on extended stretches of trail. 

From a grip perspective, the Vibram Megagrip outsole has a diverse lug pattern with wide spacing between the lugs. This should give you confidence and traction on more technical terrains. 

Upper Fit

The engineered mesh upper is stronger and more flexible in comparison to regular mesh. An ankle gaitor limits trail debris from entering the upper. The toe area is reinforced with overlays for additional durability.

Sizing Advice

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
