Underfoot Feel

The main callout is the inclusion of ZoomX foam in the midsole. This is a soft, lightweight yet highly responsive foam. It provides cushioning and returns energy. It will be most noticeable on firmer sections of the trails. 

A varied lug pattern with wide spacing between the lugs will increase confidence on technical trails. 

Upper Fit

The ankle gaiter is very practical. Its purpose is to keep debris out of the shoe. 

Engineered mesh is strong and flexible. It will perform better on the trails than a regular mesh upper. Overlays across the toe area provide extra protection and durability.

Ideal Run Type

The Nike Women’s Zegama Trail Running Shoes are set-up to be used on long, steep trail runs. They will work on a range of difficult ground conditions. 

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
