Underfoot Feel

The Zoom Fly 5’s midsole contains ZoomX foam. This foam is lightweight and returns a lot of energy. However, it is wrapped in a carrier foam for durability reasons. The midsole also contains a full-length carbon fibre plate – which adds stiffness to the shoes. 

The combination of a carbon fibre plate and ZoomX foam is a midsole that feels propulsive. It should feel as though it is helping you to move efficiently through the gait cycle.

The outsole and midsole are broad at the heel and the forefoot. This helps to create a stable platform to land and push off from.

Upper Fit

A midfoot wrap provides support where it is needed most. The fabric in the upper is lightweight and breathable, and will conform to the shape of your foot.

Ideal Run Type

The Nike Women’s Zoom Fly 5 Road Running Shoes are best for faster paced training sessions, such as interval sessions and tempo runs.
