Underfoot Feel

The main change to the On Women’s Cloudmonster 2 midsole is a softer top layer of midsole foam. This should lead to a more comfortable underfoot experience, with no loss in energy return. 

The bottom layer of the midsole still features large CloudTec Elements. As they collapse and then spring back, you should enjoy lots of shock absorption and propulsion – especially if you’re heel striking. 

In a bid to further improve energy return, an updated nylon-blend Speedboard is sandwiched between the two foams. 

Upper Fit

From a fit perspective, the On Women’s Cloudmonster 2 should feel spacious in the toe box. If you have broad feet, they should fit well. At the same time, a supportive midfoot and secure ankle collar ensures they suit a range of foot shapes. 

In comparison to the previous model, the latest edition features an updated engineered mesh, and lining, for more comfort. Additionally, an altered eyestay design should enhance midfoot lockdown. 

Ideal Run Type

As the On Women’s Cloudmonster 2 Running Shoes offer so much protection, they should feel very comfortable on slower paced runs and longer distances. Although, the propulsive nature of midsole means they should also perform on steadier to faster paced efforts too. There’s no doubt these are great all-rounders.
