If you’re wondering why it’s called a vest, it fits more like a piece of clothing than a backpack. The snug fit stops bouncing and improves comfort. There’s nothing more annoying on a trail run than a pack that moves around. While it’s available in different sizes, the SensiFit fabric morphs around your torso to deliver the perfect fit. 

This Salomon ADV Skin 5 Running Vest comes with two 500ml Salomon soft flasks as standard. You can drink from these during a run without having to take them out the slots. The soft flask construction and chest position also minimises bouncing. However, you can store a 1.5L bladder in the compartment at the back if you need more fluid. Note: the bladder is not included. 

There are also quick access pockets located on the front, along with a secure front pocket. This makes it easy to keep on top of your nutrition and get to your phone. In order to keep your pockets clean, there’s an additional trash pocket for items such as gel wrappers. 

While the 5L capacity of this running vest isn’t big enough to carry extensive amounts of kit, the main compartment pocket, small top pocket and tunnel pocket can store key trail running essentials. Such as a waterproof jacket, waterproof trousers and foil blanket.
