Advice forTrail Runners: The Sense Ride 4 from Salomon in the stylish Pastel Turquoise/Lunar Rock/Slate colourway has been subtly and excellently tweaked from the previous version to provide a more secure fit in the upper and improved protection from dirt and debris. The updated shoe still features a combination of two midsole foams called Optivibe™, one of which dampens forces while the other helps propel you. By reducing vibration on foot strike, muscle fatigue is also reduced, while you’ll still experience great energy return on your run.

With smooth ride and a nicely cushioned feel, the Sense Ride 4 is a versatile shoe which will offer great feel and protection on mixed terrain.

This is a protective trail running shoe, suitable for a wide variety of terrains, including some road use. 

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
