Advice for Road Runners: The Saucony Men’s Endorphin Speed 3 Running Shoes in the Night Lite colourway includes some additional reflective detail and offers many of the benefits of the Endorphin Pro 3, but in a package suited to a broader range of use.
Underfoot Feel
This shoe uses a semi-rigid nylon plate instead of a carbon fibre plate. This plate provides a slightly softer feel than carbon fibre, making it suitable for more regular fast-paced training, but still beneficial for some racing.
The redesigned plate now includes winged geometry which has the effect of making the shoe slightly more stable under the arch and more suited to regular training mileage.
The PWRRUN PB midsole foam has been thickened and is 40% lighter and 88% more energy returning than PWRRUN+, Saucony’s next most premium cushioning.
The nylon plate used in the Saucony Men’s Endorphin Speed 3 Running Shoes also adds structure to the foam midsole and produces a springboard effect which enhances the rolling motion of the shoe. This rocker-like technology, called SpeedRoll, combines the geometry of the shoe with a stiffened forefoot to increase turnover and help you pick up speed.
It drives the heels up and pushes the hips forward as you move through your gait cycle, creating forward momentum. This improves your ability to run faster for longer as your muscles and tendons won’t fatigue as quickly.
Upper Fit
This version of the shoe retains the supportive heel collar introduced into the previous version and uses a slightly softer mesh for a more comfortable feel. It also incorporates some additional reflective detailing, adding a further safety element to darker runs.
Ideal Run Type
If you’re looking for a cushioned, yet incredibly responsive and supportive performance running shoe for fast-paced runs, sessions or races, then take a look at the Saucony Endorphin Speed 3! It’s designed with speed in mind!
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
