Advice for Road Runners: The Saucony Women’s Endorphin Elite are Saucony’s most propulsive road racing running shoes. If you’re searching for the pinnacle of carbon plated running shoes, these are likely to be a great choice.
Underfoot Feel
The Saucony Endorphin Elite feature Saucony’s most energy efficient cushioning: PWRRUN HG foam. This means you’re likely to feel that the effort you’re putting in is translating into more speed.
Another benefit of this superfoam is the level of cushioning on offer. Coupled with the high stack, your muscles should feel fresher for longer.
The specific midsole shaping is called SPEEDROLL technology. Engineered to tip you forward sooner during the gait cycle, you should spend less time on the ground and more time moving forward.
Finally, a full-length slotted fork carbon fibre plate enhances energy return and aids your stride pattern. This is because it works in harmony with the midsole geometry to smooth out transitions. The slotted design simply means it can adapt more effectively to your biomechanics.
Upper Fit
Weighing just 185 grams (approximately), the Saucony Endorphin Elite Running Shoes are extremely lightweight. The ultra light upper plays a key role in keeping the weight down.
Even though the upper is stripped back, the appropriate support for marathon distance running is added.
Ideal Run Type
Every element of the Saucony Women’s Endorphin Elite Running Shoes is designed for speed. This means they’re going to feel at their best when you’re pushing your limits in races, such as half-marathons and marathons. We would also recommend using them for some key workouts ahead of your event.
As a result of the high level of protection on offer, they should help you feel fresher for longer in races too. For example, when your biomechanics start to deteriorate in the later stages of a marathon, lots of cushioning can make a big difference to how you feel.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
