Advice for Road Runners: The hugely popular Saucony Endorphin Pro 2 in the Blue Raz/Acid colourway has received some subtle updates from the first edition to provide even more support and comfort while you push for your personal best! Designed for racing, the Endorphin Pro 2 features a full length carbon fibre plate for unrivalled energy return underfoot. This is Saucony’s fastest shoe, and delivers their lightest, springiest cushioning ever with a PeBa-based PWRRUN PB midsole.

The carbon fibre plate adds structure to the foam and improves the rolling effect of the midsole. This effect is Saucony’s SpeedRoll technology, which features an exaggerated rocker combined with a stiff forefoot to propel you forward and help you push the pace. The geometry of the shoe guides the foot through the gait cycle, helping push the heels up and hips forward as you toe off. Creating this forward momentum allows you to pick up speed and helps you run faster for longer! This holistic style of support will also help runners with stability issues, encouraging the foot to move from heel to toe quicker and not roll inwards.

The upper textile is made using 100% recycled material. It’s ultra-lightweight and has been updated around the heel collar for improved ankle hold and support. The midfoot lacing design has also been updated for an even more secure fit. The outsole rubber provides high levels of durability, and combined with the PWRRUN PB cushioning, gives the Endorphin Pro 2 excellent levels of durability.

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone’s feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb’s width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
